working at the national gallery of art every day has countless perks. one of them is being able to wander through the sculpture garden at lunch time. i love coming here on nice days and reading or walking around, just to get out of the office. i have become so used to having it at my disposal, that i sometimes forget how special it is. last week, i took a final little lunch-time trip to the garden with a very special co-worker of mine.
i have spent a lot of lunch hours wandering around with this girl, complaining about work, over analyzing & overcontemplating our lives, and generally just talking about ourselves. it goes without saying that while i will miss the art, i'll miss the lunch-time walks with her more.
