Freddie and Frida

Fosters R Us this summer. About two weeks ago we took in three puppies, one slightly older than the other two siblings, all under three months old. We were able to find new homes for them through a Mexican organization called Salvando Sus Huellas, just in time to take in two more siblings three days ago from the same rescue group.

Freddie and Frida came to us very skinny, lethargic, recovering from a major flea/tick infestation and parasites. With good food, vitamins and worm meds they are like different dogs already. They are promised to new homes, and will only be with us for a couple of weeks. I can tell the Capt is going to want a break after that.

But I've just had word from a security guard at our condo complex that there's a chihuahua on the brink of homelessness that I may just have to see about...
