Things I'll Miss: Georgetown Mornings

to me, dc's georgetown has to be one of the most charming neighborhoods in the world.

even with the traffic, impossible parking, and tourists who will wait 3 hours in line for a cupcake... we have still loved living here so much.

one of our very favorite traditions began when ww was living smack in the middle of gtown, a block away from this adorable patisserie with amazing coffee & homemade goodies. spending weekend mornings there became a ritual for us, and we have been walking to "patis" on saturday morns for croissants, baguettes and quiches for over a year now. it is actually the site of this bucket list's conception.

we love sitting inside in the winter, and on the back patio in the summer, reading the paper and sipping coffee. afterwards, we usually stroll around georgetown for shopping, stop here for a macaroon, walk to the waterfront, or see a movie at the georgetown theater. these have been some of my very favorite mornings in dc.

i will most miss wandering around this neighborhood in the fall, when all the leaves are changing. especially since the concept of autumn does not exist in texas...
