The "Pollo Del Mar"Today we're observing Dismasting Day, to memorialize the day we lost the mast of our first sailboat, S/V "Pollo Del Mar" (Chicken of the Sea) in a sudden blow in San Pablo Bay on Veterans' Day, 1993.
